Eger Kyokushinkai Karate Development Foundation

The popularity of karate tournaments and the attendance is far below the importance compared to other major advertising sports. Karate is a lifestyle, a martial art that creates harmony between soul and body, and one of its major components is the tournament.

Over recent years, financial support decreased as a result of the current economic climate and the lack of support from local council and central government, therefore it became very challenging to secure our financial resources. For this reason, we established the Eger Kyokushinkai Karate Development Foundation which was registered in court as a charitable foundation in August 2006.
Our aim, with the help of our supporters, is to increase our finances to be able to help our fighters to travel, to create opportunities so that kids and the young can join us, to buy sports equipments, to organise camps and to improve the educational base.
We have been looking for possible supporters. As a charitable foundation, the organizations or individuals can reduce their tax base by 100%, creating a more preferable situation for us.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees: József Borza
Board members: István Eperjesi, Dr. László Darvai
In return, our foundation will try to assist our sponsonrs in all possible ways: in European and World tournaments, or in international training camps we will advertise our supporters in line with our agreement, and will hold karate demonstrations during their events.
