The European Karate Championships will take place on 13th – 14th May

in Tbilisi, GEORGIA, at the "New Sport Hall" (University str. 4)

 

1. Weight categories and number of participants for each country

a) European Championships for adults (born in 1997 and older):

Kumite men

Lightweight -65 kg, Middleweight 65-75 kg, Heavyweight 75-85 kg, Super Heavyweight + 85 kg

Kata men

Protection Men: Groin protection, Mouth protection (optional)

Kumite women

Lightweight -50 kg, Middleweight 50-55 kg, Heavyweight 55 - 60 kg, Super Heavyweight + 60kg

Kata women

Protection Women: Breast protection (only the cup type is allowed) Shin protection

Mouth protection (optional)

b) European Championships for juniors (born in 1998-1999):

Kumite Boys: -60 kg, 60-65 kg, 65-70 kg, 70-75 kg, 75-80, kg +80 kg

Kumite Girls: -50 kg, 50-55 kg, 55-60 kg, +60 kg

Kata Boys and Kata Girls

Protection Boys: Groin protection, Helmet, Shin protection,

Mouth protection (optional)

Protection Girls: Breast protection (only the cup type is allowed), Helmet, Shin protection

Mouth protection (optional)

c) 2 (two) participants per country in each category KUMITE and KATA.

Country Organizer has one extra participant in each category.

10:00 -18:00 Weight and medical control

10: 00 EKO Referee Committee meeting

13:00 -15.00 EKO Board meeting

16: 00 Referee registration and meeting

All meetings will take place in the Tournaments Official Hotel (5***** star)
